Autobiography

My name is Ardley Mejia Paredes.I was born in Ecuador in 2004 May 26.In Santo Domingo.

My birth certificate doesn’t say that I was from Santo Domingo because my parents wanted my name to be Ardley but they said”Your name can’t be Ardley because that isn’t a Ecuadorian name”!So my parents decided to put me from Carmen, which is near Santo Domingo.

My parents didn’t have a home and my dad went to England to study.I was left with my mum and we traveled everywhere over Ecuador because our family lived in different places in Ecuador. After my dad came back to Ecuador it was my very 1 birthday.

My parents said”We are going to save money to go England”!After 6 months we went to England and went to live in London. My cousins and my grandma went to live together in Stockwell.

Our family in London went to Allen Edward Primary School and just 1 month later I had a brother 2006 21 August and his name was Nick.

As years past I became better at football and we moved to another house when I was in year 3 to Croydon.I had to travel a lot to my primary school.

In year 4 I moved to Brixton. In year 4 I got chosen to play for my school football team.I was very proud and told my family about it.All the matches was on Saturday.

In year 4 my mum put me in a dancing academy and my first lesson wasn’t that bad at first I was a little bit shy my cousin came as well. The only problem was that it was on Saturday when I had my football matches and went to the dancing academy.

My first tournament of the dancing academy was to go to the O2 stadium I met a lot of famous people that day.I met William from Black Eyed Peas song and I also met the rest of his group and Shakira. It went pretty well.

I was a kid that was playing with a plane in the middle of the street. The play was based on a volcano that exploded in Colombia because our teacher was Colombian so she decided for that to be our play but it wasn’t really a play it was a dance and we spent like 2 months practicing the dance for it to be perfect. We came second place on the competition but the important thing is that we tried our very best to try and win it.

After this it was the end of year 4 and we went to Ecuador for the summer holidays. All of our family went to Ecuador,no one of our family was left in London.

Ecuador is a small country in South America. We all arrived in Ecuador safely and some of our family was there waiting for us in the airport. When we were in the car to go to Santo Domingo I saw the moon rising from the ground and it was crystal clear.

Once we got in Ecuador I told my father if he could put me in a club of football and two tournaments for the team.

We also travelled around Ecuador for example going to the beach and go other cities were we had family members. But our time was now finished in Ecuador and we came back to England.

I had to start school next day.So we started to organise things in our house.

It’s time for year 5.In year 5 I didn’t play for the school football team because the coach forgot about me so I had to start trials again.

I also had to study harder and more in year 5 because sats were coming. My favourite subject in that year was maths because I was pretty much good at everything on maths accept algebra that was very hard for me.

My class was a class that was very naughty we didn’t have that much time to play in playtime or lunchtime.

The teachers in my year always said good things about me.

It’s getting to the end of the year and we are all saying goodbye to each other and have a great time.

Now it’s summertime and like always I go Ecuador and meet up with my family. But this year was way  more better because we first went to a octopus swimming pool for my brothers birthday. After that we was travelling to Banos. In the middle of travelling to Banos we stopped to do some obstacle course for example jumping of a bridge that’s what my 2 uncles did and my dad and then I did it.At first I was scared because in  order to get out of the wire you, were connected to you had to told to a rope that some one would throw to you and then pull you to the rock and you would land safely.

After all we did in Ecuador we went back to England. It’s time for year 6 and this year is going to be harder. It was sort of scary but I tried my best and completed everything.I did my act of the end of primary school and when on a trip to the Jsle of Wight to stay there for 4 days.

This is all about my life and I hope it stays like that.

This is Your Online Domain

Hello and welcome to your personal online journal.

Edutronic has been created to enhance and enrich your learning at the London Nautical School. Its purpose is to provide you with an audience for your work (or work-in-progress) and you have the choice (by altering the ‘visibility’ of your posts) of whether your work on here is visible to the world, or only to your teacher.

Anything you post here in the public domain represents you and thus it’s important that you take care with that decision, but don’t be afraid to publish your work – as the feedback you may get from people at home, your peers and people from around the internet is only likely to enhance it.

Remember you can always access your class blog and all manner of resources through the Edutronic main website – and by all means check out the sites of your peers to see what they’re getting up to as well.

If you have any questions for your teacher, an excellent way to get an answer is to create a new private post on this journal. Your teachers are am notified of any new posts and will reply swiftly to any queries.

Make the most of, and enjoy this new freedom in your English learning!
